The Boeing MQ-25 Stingray is unmanned aircraft system that delivers on efficiency and performance. It was developed by the aerospace company specifically for assisting with refueling for Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet, Boeing EA-18G Growler, and Lockheed Martin F-35C fighters. At the time the company was given the news of being awarded the contract--in the amount of $805 million--by the US Navy, Loren Thompson, a defense consultant with the defense-related think tank Lexington Institute, shared, "If Boeing were to win both the MQ-25 and the Air Force’s T-X Trainer, that would be perceived as a major turning point for its defense business."
